Last updated: 03/17/2026
Matchpoint ("the App") respects your privacy and processes personal data under principles of lawfulness, transparency, minimization, and security. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, and which rights you can exercise.
1. Data controller
Miralab is the data controller for personal data processed through Matchpoint. This policy applies to the mobile app, tournament features, and related services required for operation.

- Usage data: tournaments, teams, registrations, invitations, and actions performed in the platform.
- Technical and security data: session identifiers, basic device information, and operational logs for fraud prevention and service stability.
4. Purposes and legal basis
We process your data to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage your user account.
- Enable sign-in through external providers (Google and Apple) and maintain secure sessions.
- Operate core Matchpoint features: tournaments, teams, registrations, and invitations.
- Improve performance, security, technical support, and overall service quality.
5. Device permissions
Matchpoint requests only permissions needed for app operation. If additional permissions are added in the future, their purpose will be clearly disclosed in-app and/or in this policy before use.
6. Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with technology providers acting as processors (for example, authentication, infrastructure, hosting, and database services), strictly to provide the service and under confidentiality and security obligations.
7. International data transfers
Some providers may process data in jurisdictions different from your country. In such cases, we seek reasonable contractual and technical safeguards to maintain an adequate level of data protection.
8. Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active or as needed to operate Matchpoint, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations. Data is deleted or anonymized when appropriate.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. No system is fully infallible, but we continuously review and improve controls.
10. Children
Matchpoint is not directed to children under 13. If we detect child data without valid consent, we may restrict or remove the account and related data.
